The Darwin Sun Lounge is perfect for those who desire to create a space which is unique and an interesting focal point of a garden. The asymmetrical style lends itself to creating two different entertaining areas within the building. Our 8ft x 16ft model as pictured above, has enough space to comfortably offer both a dining area and a seated relaxation area including a coffee table.
As with our whole range of sun lounges you can choose between a shingled, transparent glazed or opaque glazed roof. As these three options can be combined into a single roof, the sun lounge can be designed to give optimal sunlight exposure or conversely provide additional shading in south facing gardens.
Having a combination of cedar shutters, glazed or panelled sides available it provides shade on a hot summer’s day and, with our unpredictable weather, shelter for guests should the clouds open. Using only the finest Western Red Cedar, the Sun Lounges are crafted with over 20 years of manufacturing experience, A wide range of sumptuous fabric and colour options are available. This is a stylish and functional addition to any garden or setting.

Western red cedar shutters provide the Sun Lounge seating area with shade from the sun on long hot summer days. Our bi-fold hinge installed as part of the shutter system allows various configurations to maximise where and how much shade covers the Sun Lounge seating area. The unique Sun Lounge shutter system removes the dependence of good weather to use the Sun Lounge, and instead, offers a building you can enjoy and entertain from across all four seasons of the year. Each shutter window can be swiftly closed and secured to create a weatherproof seal, protecting the interior and contents of the Sun Lounge in the unexpected occurrence of bad weather. Each individual shutter is lockable to secure the Sun Lounge whilst not in use.
